We got this old classic pub vibe, low beams, rickety staircase had me feeling like I’d walked into another time. The room was great, spotless and comfy, best part was the breakfast, they really went all out, like a feast fit for a king.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but worth it for the experience.

After a long day's walk, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, and had a wonderful meal in the restaurant that exceeded our expectations. plus, it's just a few steps from the beautiful Sir Antony Gormley Sculpture, perfect for a leisurely stroll after dinner. as a single traveler, I appreciated the comfortable room that made my stay cozy and enjoyable, creating a great base for exploration, but finding the entrance to the car park could be easier with better signage.

I had a delightful stay at the White Swan Hotel. The charming bar atmosphere and friendly staff created a welcoming vibe. While breakfast wasn’t available due to management changes, the nearby cafe provided a tasty alternative. I’ll certainly return for the unique experience.
